Is about anything but a pampered momma. But, I guess that depends on your definition of pampered. Oh sure, I get some wonderful pampering from my husband at times, but there are other times when you just want to throw your hands in the air.
A working mom, a business owner with a couple of side hustles, a 'child therapist', a friend to many with a few solid friends I can count on, a lover of food with drive to be creative in the kitchen but short on time. A communicator with high anxiety. A dreamer. A prayful person. A believer. A skeptic. Inquisitive. Tired. Strong. Nature lover with allergies. Any of this resonating yet?
When I'm not in my office, or running around with kids, or visiting family and friends... when I'm not volunteering in the community, working in the yard or on one of my side hustles... when I'm not a church or visiting clients, vendors, schools, or the nursing home where my mother-in-law lives... when I'm not cleaning house or playing with my dogs... I'm in the kitchen creating a new twist on a family favorite recipe or teaching my kids or friends new recipes.
I KNOW I'm not the only momma around here who is facing the mid-life shuffle. This blog is intended to share my experiences with you in the hopes you'll share with me, too.
Together we can discover new home management tips & tricks, lean on each other when things feel like they're spinning out of control, share some food and recipes (because I believe meal time is healing time and together time), learn about some new places, resources, products or services around the Twin Cities area and just come together to "Pamper Each Other" - because we're STRONG Mommas!
